Installed a 2 handle faucet in bathroom sink , valve on hot line, heard click no hot water from faucet
l do have hot water in bath tub and kitchen faucet
check all valves to make sure they are on
try removing the supply line from the faucet & turn on the
angle stop just a little if water comes out then it is ur faucet if water
does not come out it is ur angle stop & it needs to be replaced , it may
be as simple as sand in the line blocking the water way or as bad as a
defective faucet . try turning the angle stop on a little with the supply
line attached & without the supply line this will determine if the supply
line is at fault. if you have water without the supply line on then is you supply line just replace it, if you have water in all instances then it is ur foucet & if you want really to find out what it is then you can take the stem out & check the gasket it may have come loose ( aldough highly unlikely )
check other faucets in the house for hot water at those
locations, in no joy, check the main shut off valve on the hot water
heater, make sure that its open, then check for closed valves to the
affected system faucets, theres one or more turned off somewhere in the
system, make sure that theres water in the hw tank too, do this by
opening the byp;ass relief valve, make sure that you are getting water,
not steam
