Is there such a thing as having your bath water too hot

Snuggles , Sunday, 1st of August 2010 05:22:49 AM

Whenever l take a bath, l typically turn the hot water all the way on, and
Snuggles
leave the cold water faucet alone. l was wondering if doing this was in

any way harmful to my health. l prefer hot water for some reason, even

the bath tub.

Should l start taking cooler baths? (Yes, l know

this is a weird question, but l was just wondering.)

Well I usually have warm baths but not too warm.It might cause

your skin to be dry and possibly damaged in the future if you do it often.

You might want to get yourself tested by your doctor. You seem

to have a unnatural resilience to pain. That could be a problem, for your

It could also be that the hot water tank is not set very high - should

be up to 160F to kill bugs in the water.

Hot baths feel great. I like the feeling of relaxation

afterward. Only thing is, it can dry out your skin really badly. Also, if

is a bad idea. In Japan, many people enjoy getting into very hot tubs.

It is for health purposes. However, I guess it is up to the individual and

There is no such thing as your bath water being too hot. Unless
Cuppy
it is boiling.. Different people have different preferences.

Yes, there is such a thing as too hot. Usually people are

sensitive to temperature and are unlikely to get into a bath that is hot

probably not very good. the redness could be mild scald and
MI GORDITA
could cause skin dryness. Your skin nerves may get destroyed over time
