what would cause a shower head to stop spraying water

Sweetheart , Monday, 9th of August 2010 04:46:05 AM

It worked fine yesterday but now it just dribbles out.
It rushes out

of the bath tub faucet but the shower head just dribbles.

try cleaning it with vinegar, like you do a coffee pot to get

rid of the mineral buildup from your water

Sounds like build-up preventing the water from flowing

properly. Vinegar works great and it is cheap. Try soaking it for a while.

Then, if necessary, you can use a toothbrush to get a little more out of

If you have some CLR soak it there for a bit , it could be lime

or Iron in the water after a while even calcium will clog them up.

Have you cleaned the inside of the shower head?

Sometimes a build up of contaminants can lead to a blocked shower head.

Turn on the shower and see if there is any little pieces of gunk poking

Soak the shower head in CLR. This will remove the deposits that are

blocking the water flow.

It is probably clogged with calcium and lime build-up. Remove
Brace face
the head and soak and rinse it in some white vinegar.
